Working with the Destination Marketing Store (DMS), I undertook a review of the Lilla Foundation's current strategic approach, fundraising plans and governance arrangements.
This resulted in a revised overall approach for the organisation, a re–naming to the Watarrka Foundation, a clearer funding strategy for the coming decade and a detailed exploration of the potential structures that the organisation could operate under.
The Watarrka Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims to develop leadership values amongst the children of Watarrka, so as to 'create the leaders of tomorrow, who are inspired to care for their legacy and that can show others the way.'
The Foundation undertakes a number of initiatives to assist the children, their teachers and their parents within the Watarrka Region including school nutrition schemes, outstation upliftment and the creation of education opportunities.
