Fundraising Strategy & Organisational Development
February 2007 – June 2010
From 2007–10 I headed up the Coca-Cola Foundation in Australia which helped me develop a strong understanding of Corporate Foundations specifically, the Philanthropic Sector in general and also gave me hands–on experience of some of the key issues facing marginalised youth and Indigenous Australians.
My work with the Foundation included a full review that led to a revised strategy focusing on marginalised youth and a plan for organisational engagement within Coca-Cola. I also oversaw the grant program which included identification of potential partners & community grant recipients, running the overall funding process and reporting back on impact to the Board.
During this time I was also responsible for the global Coca-Cola Foundations’ funding in the South Pacific, which included multi-year support for ‘Project Catalyst’. This project is now entering its 7th year having received $3.25M in total funding from the Coca-Cola Foundation.
