Creating Australia's Most Circular Valley

A community workshop to explore how transitioning to a more circular economy can benefit the Bega Valley

Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre
28 May, 8.45am – 5.30pm (structured workshop will run from 9.00 – 4.30pm)

On Wednesday 28 May, more than 100 community leaders will take part in a workshop exploring what becoming Australia’s most circular valley could mean for everyone who lives here.

Made up of a broad cross section of people from across the Bega Valley, the workshop will take an in-depth look at the significant socio-economic benefits the transition to a more circular economy could bring to the entire region.

Jointly led by the Regional Circularity Co-operative (RCC) and CSIRO, and in partnership with the Bega Valley Shire Council, Bega Group, NSW Government and University of Wollongong, the workshop is a unique opportunity for the entire community to come together and explore how it can build a Bega Valley that is a vibrant, cohesive and resilient circular region.
